Novosibirsk Region

Though Novosibirsk is the third largest city in Russia, it is not a center for tourism. Usually, people come here for business. Nevertheless, there are a lot of things to see in the city and Region: the biggest zoo in Russia, Akademgorodok science center, a huge number of museums and theaters. Ski resorts, Zveroboy cliffs, Barsukovskaya Cave, Lake Karachi, nature reserves, pine forests are all nice places for doing sport, walking, observing nature and gathering mushrooms and berries.
