The project `Golden Ring of Siberia` created by Tomsk office of Russian Geographical Society (RGS) has been honored with the presidential grant and became realized. Its main aim is to organize the sightseeing tour between twelve regions of Siberian Federal District that gives a chance to know what Siberia is. This is a good chance to interest tourists and make them come back here.
\nBefore planning the rout that would be the most entertaining, our specialists had studied the public opinion.
\n\u2013\tAccording to our survey more than 90% of potential tourists want to visit Siberia \u2013 reported a member of federal commission of RGS on tourism development, executive director of RGS Tomsk regional branch, Yulia Kaluzhnaya. \u2013 In addition we determined the tour duration that is 5-12 days. It will include fare, hotel accommodation, guide services, visiting sights. However, the ticket price isn`t set yet and at first we will organize low-cost tours.
\nAccording to the federal expert, the local tour operators will make the project work. The main purpose is providing tourists with the comfortable transportation, because this is the key for success. Thus RGS Omsk regional branch has included explored routes into the tour.
\nThe authors of the project promise that the web-portal of the same name will start working in three languages \u2013 Russian, English and Chinese and broaden the opportunities for tourists, even for foreign ones, in Siberian Federal District. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
